The ToolPRO Compression Tester Kit 8 Piece measures engine combustion chamber pressure to diagnose compression loss. Compression is critical to power output, and low or uneven readings between cylinders point to worn piston rings, leaking valves or failed head gaskets that require engine reconditioning. The kit's 75mm dual-scale gauge reads 0–300PSI, and multiple adapter fittings (straight, angled, M10, M12, M18) thread into spark plug holes on most vehicles, with push-in rubber adaptors for engines without threads.
A 400mm extension hose reaches rear cylinder heads in transverse engine configurations where access is tight. Compare each cylinder's reading against the others and the factory service manual to determine where sealing failure has occurred. The blow-moulded storage case keeps every fitting and the gauge organised and protected.
