What is Supercheap Auto's Spend & Get offer, and how does it work?

Spend & Get is a way for Supercheap Auto Club members to earn credit while they shop. For every $100 you spend on eligible purchases, a $5 credit is automatically added to your Club account. This total is calculated based on completed purchases, meaning your credit is issued once your items have been collected in store or dispatched for delivery.

How it works:

  • Accumulating spend: You don’t need to spend the full $100 at once. Every eligible purchase you make during the earn period counts toward your next $5 credit.
  • Reward thresholds: Rewards apply for every $100 threshold reached (eg. spend $100, get $5 credit, spend $200, get $10 credit).
  • Receiving your credit: Once you hit a $100 threshold, your credit will typically appear in your account within 24 hours.
  • Using your credit: Each credit is valid for 28 days from the day it is issued, so be sure to use it on your next shop before it expires.
  • Spending with credit: Keep in mind that you won't earn new credits on the portion of a shop paid for using your existing credit.

    • Do I have to be a Club member to earn Spend & Get credit?

    Yes to earn Spend & Get credit, you must be a Supercheap Auto Club member. This is an exclusive benefit for members, and any purchases made before joining or without using your account cannot be counted toward your total. Sign up here to be a Club member.

    Do I need to spend $100 in one transaction to earn Spend & Get credit?

    No, you don't need to spend $100 in one go. Every eligible purchase you make in store or online using your Club membership counts toward the total throughout the earn period. Once your combined spend reaches $100, a $5 credit will be automatically applied to your account within 24 hours. Just remember that each credit is valid for 28 days from the date it is issued.

    What types of purchases count toward my Spend & Get total?

    Most in store and online purchases made using your Club membership count toward your Spend & Get accrual, including Click & Collect and special order products. Your spend is added to your balance once the order is considered completed, with any earned $5 credit applied to your account within 24 hours. Please note that certain exclusions apply, such as tyres, gift cards, delivery fees, and fitment services.

    What doesn’t count towards my spend to receive Spend & Get credit?

    While most purchases help you reach your goal, certain items and transactions are excluded from the Spend & Get total. These include tyres, delivery charges, gift card purchases, and charity donations, as well as any portion of a purchase paid for using existing credit redemptions. Additionally, transactions made using a Government Basics Card or Motor Pass card, along with cash out transactions, do not contribute toward the $100 threshold required to earn your $5 credit.

    When are purchases considered “completed” for Spend & Get eligibility?

    A purchase is considered complete either at the register in store or when your items are shipped or collected for online and Click & Collect orders. For transactions involving special order products, the purchase is finalised once those specific items are dispatched or picked up. Once a completed purchase brings your total eligible spend to $100, your $5 credit will be automatically applied to your Club account within 24 hours.

    When will I receive my Spend & Get credit after making a purchase?

    Your $5 credit will be applied to your Club account within 24 hours of your eligible spend reaching the $100 threshold. As the system tracks your cumulative total, the credit is processed automatically once your transactions are completed. Keep in mind that for the credit to trigger, the purchases must be considered completed rather than just pending.

    How will I know when I’ve earned and received my Spend & Get credit?

    Once you earn a $5 credit, we will notify you via the email address linked to your Club account. You can also check your current balance at any time by logging in to the "My Account" section on the Supercheap Auto website, or by asking a team member in store.

    How can I check my Spend & Get credit balance at Supercheap Auto?

    You can check your Spend & Get credit balance by logging into your account on the Supercheap Auto website or by viewing it within your digital wallet. If you haven't set up your digital wallet yet, you can download it via the Digital Wallet FAQ page. Additionally, your current balance can be confirmed in store by providing your Club membership details to a team member at the register.

    How long does Supercheap Auto Spend & Get credit last before it expires?

    Spend & Get credit remains valid for 28 calendar days from the date it is applied to your Club account. After this period, any unused credit will automatically expire and cannot be redeemed. To make the most of your credit, ensure you use it on a subsequent purchase so you don't miss out.

    Can I earn and use Spend & Get credit both in store and online?

    Yes, you can earn and redeem Spend & Get credit for both in store and online purchases. Simply ensure you are logged into your Club membership online or scan your card at the register in store to track your spend and apply your credit. This gives you the flexibility to build toward your $100 total and spend your $5 credits however you prefer to shop.

    Does Spend & Get apply to Click & Collect orders at Supercheap Auto?

    Yes, Click & Collect orders are eligible for earning and redeeming Spend & Get credit. Your spend will be added to your total once your items have been collected in store, which marks the order as complete. Within 24 hours of that collection, any earned $5 credit will be automatically applied to your Club account and ready to use on your next purchase.

    Can I use Spend & Get credit on any product at Supercheap Auto?

    You can use your Spend & Get credit on almost any product across our range, with only a few specific exceptions. Credit cannot be used for layby payments, in store special orders or gift cards. However, if you’re placing a special order online, you’re welcome to use your credit.

    Can I use Spend & Get credit on sale or clearance items at Supercheap Auto?

    Yes, you can use your Spend & Get credit to purchase both sale and clearance items at Supercheap Auto. It’s a great way to stack your savings on top of already discounted products. Just remember that the credit must be used within 28 days of being applied to your account.

    Can I use Spend & Get credit on fitment or services at Supercheap Auto?

    Yes, you can use your Spend & Get credit for fitment and services at your local Supercheap Auto store. It's a great way to reduce the cost of professional services, such as battery fitment or wiper fitment. Just keep in mind that while you can spend your credit on these services, the service fees themselves do not count toward earning your next $100 spend threshold.

    Can I combine multiple Spend & Get credits in one transaction?

    Yes, you can combine multiple Spend & Get credits in a single transaction at Supercheap Auto. This allows you to accumulate credits and apply them all at once to maximise your savings. You also have the flexibility to redeem only a portion of your total credit balance if you prefer.

    Can I transfer my Spend & Get credit to another person or account?

    No, your Spend & Get credit is linked specifically to your Club membership and cannot be transferred to another person or account. To ensure you don't miss out, simply apply the credit to your own purchase in store or online within 28 days of it being issued.

    What happens if I return or cancel a purchase that earned Spend & Get credit?

    If you return, refund or cancel a purchase that contributed to a Spend & Get credit, the corresponding spend will be deducted from your total. If this causes your eligible spend to fall below the $100 threshold, any unredeemed credit earned from that transaction will be removed from your Club account. For partial returns, your spend balance will be adjusted based on the final value.

    When does the Spend & Get earning period reset each year?

    Your spend accrual resets on the 1st of January each year. This means your progress toward the $100 threshold starts fresh at the beginning of the new calendar year. However, any $5 credits already earned and applied to your account are not affected by this reset; they remain valid for the full 28-day period from their original date of issue. Don't worry, we'll notify you ahead of the period reset.
