The SCA Oil Filter SCO334 (Interchangeable with Z334) is engineered for confident engine protection through high-grade internal filtering media that traps small steel particles shed during engine operation, transporting them safely away from critical moving components and into the filter cartridge. Beyond filtration, oil serves multiple purposes inside the motor: it cools the engine, stabilises temperatures throughout the block, and prevents hotspots that can damage precision components.
The filter features a silicone anti drain-back seal that prevents oil from flowing backward through the cartridge when the engine is off. This ensures even oil distribution throughout the engine on cold starts, when viscosity is highest and flow resistance greatest.
