The Ryco Oil Filter Cup Wrench RST219 removes stubborn spin-on filters quickly and easily, even after they've been on for extended periods or over-tightened. Unlike strap-style removers that need swinging room, this cup-style tool grips the filter like a giant socket and works with breaker bars and extensions to budge the most reluctant filters in confined engine bays.
Cast from lightweight but strong aluminium, the cup fits 74mm spin-on filter cans with 14 flutes and accepts either a 27mm spanner or socket, or a 1/2" drive ratchet. This versatility means you can apply maximum leverage exactly where the space allows, making oil filter removal a straightforward job instead of a wrestling match.
