The Pioneer Hardwire Kit for VREC-H120SC/H320SC/H520DC/Z820DC enables parking mode on compatible Pioneer drive recorders by wiring the camera directly to the vehicle battery. It converts the vehicle's 12V to 24V supply into a stable 5V DC output, and built-in low voltage protection cuts power at 11.8V to prevent the vehicle battery draining while the car is parked.
A 1 metre lead runs from the vehicle's power supply to the hardwire module, with a further 4 metre lead connecting through to the dash camera, giving enough reach for a tidy, concealed installation behind trim panels. A 2.5A fuse protects the wiring circuit, and the module operates in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. It suits the Pioneer VREC-H120SC, VREC-H320SC, VREC-H520DC and VREC-Z820DC drive recorders.
