The Penrite Trans Gear Oil 75W-90 1 Litre is a premium performance full-synthetic manual gearbox and transaxle oil manufactured from highly refined base oils, the latest technology additives, friction enhancers and an advanced viscosity modifier. It meets the performance requirements of API MT-1 and GL-5 as well as many manufacturers' specifications, making it a highly versatile choice for transaxles, gearboxes, transfer cases and differentials across passenger vehicles, 4WDs, and light and heavy-duty commercial fleets.
The oil can be used where API GL-4 or GL-5 SAE 75W-90 oils are recommended, and is also suitable in some heavy duty truck and bus manual gearboxes where API GL-5 SAE 80W-90 oils are needed but smooth shift characteristics are desired. It works in differentials of all types of equipment that specify 80W-90 oils, including heavy duty applications. For limited slip differential applications, a dose of Penrite Limslip Additive is required. Suited to many gearboxes made by Hino, MAN, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo.
