The Maxtrax Universal Mounting Short Pins 17mm 4 Pack MTXUMPS17 secure Maxtrax recovery tracks to a roof rack, crossbar or vehicle panel using the Maxtrax Flat Mounting Brackets. Each pin is mechanically bonded for strength and can be turned to a locked position that allows a padlock to pass through, deterring opportunistic theft of the boards while parked or travelling. The pins mix and match with any combination of MKII, LITE and XTREME recovery tracks, carrying from two to four boards in total, and also fit the Maxtrax Motoboard and Mini.
Each 17mm short pin pack includes 4 nylon and stainless steel quick-release pins, 4 stainless steel Nyloc nuts and 4 flat stainless steel washers, giving a complete mounting set ready to bolt up. The short 17mm thread length is designed specifically for use with Maxtrax Flat Mounting Brackets, while the multiple knuckle positions on each pin accommodate different board combinations for quick access when a recovery situation calls for a rapid response.
