Product Info

K-Slim has been specifically developed to address the wheelhouse clearance limitations of front driving cars featuring big wheels and sophisticated suspension systems. The unique features of the K-Slim are related the product compactness both in static and dynamic conditions: each single component is designed to take as less room as possible and the product is engineered to remain super-adherent to the tyre in dynamic conditions. König K-Slim features a ground-up fitting system: thanks to the flexible cable sliding on the ground behind the wheel, all the chain parts get connected without moving the vehicle. Once the snow chain is mounted on the wheel, after some low speed driving, the K-Slim requires the user to stop to re-tighten the chain properly. Additional features such as the König Micro-adjust and the König Wheel-Shield Level 2 are elevating the K-Slim to be the preferred choice for sporty passenger car.

Features

  • The thinnest snow chain in dynamic conditions, compatible with cars with limited wheelhouse clearance
  • The patented design reduces the dynamic elevation and avoids interference between the chain and the wheel arch
  • The manual tensioning system requires one vehicle stop for fitting and one additional stop to re-tension the chain
  • MICRO-ADJUST simplifies mounting and tensioning operations while providing a tight and precise fit of the chain on the tyre
  • Closed shortening hooks
  • Wheel-Shield Level 2 offers a protection of the wheel from the main scratches caused by contact with metal parts. The side elements are protected with specific nylon bumper kit
  • Approved by car manufacturers as a solution for vehicles with limited space in the wheel arch, like Alfa Romeo Giulia, Citroën C4 Picasso, C3 Picasso, Jeep Renegade, Fiat 500X, Fiat Panda Cross, Peugeot 1007, Peugeot 207, Renault Laguna III
