The Castrol Spheerol HTB Grease Cartridge 450g is a non-melting bentone clay based grease designed for high temperature automotive and industrial applications. It withstands temperature peaks up to 140°C, making it well suited to front wheel bearings in cars with disc brakes that generate very high operating heat. The grease is built on a mineral base oil with a viscosity of 500 mm²/s at 40°C and offers excellent resistance to water washout for demanding bearing applications.
Spheerol HTB's bentone clay thickener delivers a wide working temperature range along with strong resistance to shock and heavy loading, while its high thermal stability extends service life between relubrication. The smooth amber to brown grease resists water, helping to protect wheel bearings and other high temperature components from moisture ingress.
