The Castrol Grease Cartridge High Temp 450g is a lithium complex grease formulated for plain and roller bearing applications that run hotter than conventional lithium greases can handle. Its excellent stability, load carrying capacity and high temperature performance make it well suited to wheel bearings on vehicles operating at high speeds over long distances, or where prolonged heavy braking raises hub temperatures above normal. Rated NLGI Grade 2 with a 260°C dropping point and an operating range of -30°C to +140°C, it stays stable under sustained heat and heavy loads.
Castrol Grease Cartridge High Temp 450g is Castrol's primary recommendation for vehicles fitted with disc brakes, and it also suits general purpose greasing on industrial plant operating under high load and temperature. The blue 450g cartridge loads directly into standard grease guns, and good water resistance helps protect bearings from contamination in wet conditions.
