The Bendix Ceramasil Brake Parts Lubricant 6g is a pure synthetic, dry-film boundary lubricant purpose-built for brake service work, ideal for anyone fitting new pads, rotors or calipers. Formulated from pure synthetic base oils treated with rust, oxidation and anti-wear additives, it creates a protective barrier at metal-to-metal and metal-to-rubber brake contact points, lasting the full life of the brake job. The high-temperature ceramic formulation handles the extreme range from -50°C to over 1,650°C that conventional greases cannot match.
Ceramasil reduces brake noise, vibrations and harshness (NVH) by isolating pad backplates from caliper pistons and fingers, and keeps caliper guide pins moving freely so pads can self-centre and adjust for wear. One 6g sachet is sized to complete a single front or rear axle service, making it a convenient addition to any brake kit. Bendix recommends applying it with every brake pad change for lasting protection against wear, corrosion and unwanted noise.
