How To Fit a Child Booster Seat
Overview
Child booster seats are designed to keep young children safe in the car - but only if fitted correctly.
Booster seats are for children between the ages of 4 to 8 years old who are too small to safely sit on the back seat. Any child under the upper height marker should be secured in a booster seat.
Before you start, make sure you read the instruction manual carefully.

Steps
Locate Anchor Point
Firstly locate your vehicles child restraint anchor point.
This will be located somewhere on the back seat or in the boot area. Check your vehicles manual for the exact location if required.
NOTE: Some vehicles don’t have an anchor point pre-attached and you will need to fit an anchor kit.
Secure Booster
Once you have located or fitted anchor points, attach and tighten the tether strap to secure the booster seat in place.
NOTE: Make sure the seat is tightly secured but don’t allow the base of the booster seat to lift off the car seat.
Attach Seat Belt
Feed the ‘Lap Sash’ seat belt through the seat belt guide located on the side of the headrest.
NOTE: The guide is designed to keep the seatbelt away from your child’s neck and face.
Adjust Seat
Adjust the height of the head rest so that the seatbelt stretches comfortably across your child’s chest. This is done using the red button located on the back of the headrest.
Clip In Seat Belt
Clip the seatbelt into the correct buckle. Secure the lap belt comfortably and securely around the child and allow the sash to spool back any excess slack.
Final Check
Finally, check over all your anchor points and adjustments. If you’re satisfied then it’s safe to drive.
