The Tridon Thermostat Gasket TTG46 is a paper-style thermostat gasket engineered to seal the thermostat housing to the engine block and prevent coolant loss. Sized at 38mm flange diameter, it is produced to OE specifications to suit the specific application. The self-adhesive back holds the gasket firmly in place during assembly, making installation cleaner and more straightforward.
When replacing a thermostat, always replace the old gasket at the same time, a worn or compressed gasket is a common source of coolant leaks even with a new thermostat fitted. Note that a sealing compound must be used in conjunction with this gasket during installation.
