The ToolPRO Valve Lapper is a hand tool designed to seat valves against their valve seats using suction cup contact and lapping compound. The two-piece set features contoured hardwood handles paired with flexible rubber cups, providing four different cup sizes to accommodate valve diameters across a wide range of engine applications.
To use the lapper, apply a thin layer of grease to the suction cups before operation to maximise suction and sealing. Ensure valves are thoroughly cleaned of carbon deposits before lapping, as the suction may prove ineffective on pitted or damaged valve faces. The flexible cup design assists with consistent contact pressure throughout the lapping stroke.
