The ToolPRO Spark Plug Socket 1/2" Drive 13/16" is designed to remove spark plugs cleanly and safely without damaging the ceramic insulator or cracking the porcelain. Chrome vanadium steel construction resists twisting when breaker bars are applied, and the polished chrome finish shrugs off corrosion and stays brilliant under the engine bay.
A rubber insert inside the socket grips the removed spark plug and lifts it clear of deep wells found in DOHC heads, so the spark plug comes out with the socket instead of dropping back into the hole. The 6 point design grips the spark plug hexagon precisely, avoiding the rounding damage that loose sockets cause. Use it with your 1/2 inch square drive ratchet, breaker bar or socket rail.
