The ToolPRO Caliper Piston Spreader is engineered to safely retract single and multi-piston brake calipers when installing new pads. Heavy-duty zinc-coated steel construction provides the rigidity needed to apply even pressure and compress pistons without chipping or cracking the bore. The tool slips between old brake pads, and the swivel knurled handle winds the screw for controlled retraction in tight engine bay spaces.
Once pistons are fully compressed, loosen the handle and the tool releases cleanly. The design suits any brake system that requires caliper piston compression during routine pad replacement or service.
