The Nulon Gear Oil 75W-90 Full Synthetic GL-5 2.5 Litre is a full synthetic hypoid gear oil for manual gearboxes and transaxles in passenger cars and light commercials where API GL-5 or API MT-1 performance is required. It is formulated from hydrofinished base oils with an additive package that enhances wear protection, corrosion protection and low temperature characteristics, and it is the preferred substitute for SAE 80W-90 or SAE 90 gear oil.
In everyday driving the oil maintains high temperature stability while keeping its fluidity at low temperatures, so gear changes stay smooth and baulking is reduced on cold mornings. Extreme pressure additives maintain oil film thickness between gear teeth under heavy load and shock load conditions such as towing and off-road use, and the shear stable formula keeps protecting the gearbox for the life of the fluid.
This oil suits manual gearboxes and conventional differentials in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, 4x4s and towing vehicles, as well as transaxles combining a manual gearbox and hypoid differential, and rear axles for trucks and buses. It meets Audi and VW Spec No. G50 and GM HN1181 and HN2013 specifications.
