The Gulf Western Gear Lube Low Vis 75W-90 GL-5 4 Litre is an extreme pressure gear lubricant for manual transmissions, transfer cases and steering boxes. It is formulated to API GL-5, GL-4, GL-2, EPII and MIL-L-2105D specifications, giving it broad coverage across older and newer gearbox designs calling for a 75W-90 gear oil.
Its shear stable formulation exceeds the stringent 75W-90 requirement, helping maintain full protection through extended drain intervals. A naturally high viscosity index stops cold shift baulking while still providing quiet running once the gearbox reaches operating temperature, and the reduced friction lowers operating temperature and frictional power losses during everyday driving.
