The Century ISS Active AGM Stop Start Car Battery DIN85LH AGM 850CCA is an AGM battery for passenger vehicles with stop/start systems, rated at 850 CCA and 95Ah (C20). It uses Absorbed Glass Mat technology to deliver exceptional starting power, extreme cycle life and superior micro-cycling capability, making it a suitable replacement for original equipment AGM batteries. Superior charge acceptance allows faster recharge between repeated engine starts, while a low self-discharge rate extends shelf life.
Measuring 353mm x 175mm x 190mm x 190mm with STD terminals, C polarity and a side or end hold down, this battery suits vehicles sharing this group size and terminal layout. Platelock Technology and AGM separators provide vibration and impact resistance, while a sulphation retardant helps curb plate damage for longer service life. The sealed, maintenance-free design includes carry handles, a flame arrestor and a mud rack for secure, trouble-free installation.
This battery replaces equivalents including Bosch LN5, Exide SSAGM-88EU and Supercharge MF88HSS. After fitting a new battery to a stop/start vehicle, the battery management system may need to be reset or the new battery registered so the stop/start function operates correctly.
