The kit includes an APP8 secondary ISO harness that converts the aftermarket headunit plug into a universal double ISO connector, plus an SWC patch lead that connects between the headunit and an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter.
The SWC patch lead enables OEM steering wheel controls to keep working with the compatible aftermarket Sony headunit when used alongside an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter, sold separately. Secure clips on the ISO connectors and headunit plug maintain a reliable connection, though a small amount of hard-wiring may still be needed to complete some installations.
