The kit includes an APP8 secondary ISO harness that converts the aftermarket headunit plug into a universal double ISO connector system, plus a steering wheel control (SWC) patch lead that connects between the headunit and a compatible Aerpro steering wheel control interface or Infodapter.
Pairing the patch lead with an Aerpro steering wheel control interface or Infodapter retains OEM steering wheel controls on the compatible JVC aftermarket headunit. Secure clips on the ISO connectors and headunit plug maintain a long lasting connection, though some hard-wiring may still be required depending on the vehicle and headunit combination.
