The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Mazda 6 GH Series (2008-2009) CHMZ6C lets you fit an aftermarket headunit while keeping factory steering wheel controls. The harness is fitted with a vehicle specific ISO plug that connects directly into the existing wiring, so no cutting of the factory wiring harness is required. This interface is CANBUS compatible and provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse, illumination and amp remote, and allows OEM clock, trip and fader settings to be adjusted via the steering wheel controls.
Installation is simplified when paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness and SWC Patch Lead Type C, which connects between the aftermarket headunit and this interface and is required to enable steering wheel control functions (sold separately). The aftermarket headunit must be SWC compatible, and this interface is not compatible with Mazda 6 models fitted with OEM Bose Amplified Audio Systems.
