The Pioneer 3 inch 4K dual channel dash camera with GPS records the road ahead in 4K and the road behind in Full HD. The dash camera uses a Sony STARVIS IMX415 8MP image sensor with AI night vision and HDR, so number plates stay readable at night and through tunnel glare. A 137° diagonal field of view takes in the lanes either side, built-in GPS stamps speed and location onto every journey, and the G-sensor locks footage automatically when an impact is detected.
ADAS driver alerts cover forward collision warning, lane departure warning and stop and go traffic, and loop recording keeps the card cycling on 1 or 3 minute clips. The 3 inch IPS LCD screen lets you change settings and play footage back on the camera itself, while built-in Wi-Fi connects to the free Pioneer ZenVue app for settings, footage review and live view.
This front and rear dash cam is supplied with an adhesive windscreen mount, a USB Type-C power adapter drawing 5V 2.0A from the vehicle socket and a 128GB microSD card, with microSD support up to 512GB and super capacitor backup power. Parking mode is available with the optional RD-HWK300 hardwire kit, sold separately.
