If you own a bench grinder, you could own the ultimate polishing machine. All you need is the ToolPRO bench grinder polishing kit. Using the kit in the correct order will yield a high shine and brilliant brightness from just about any metal including aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, silver, pewter and gold. This makes the kit perfect for polishing Axe heads, hammers, rusty tools, golf clubs and much more!
What's included in the kit?
The kit includes 5 different polishing compound bars to be used with the 3 different grade polishing wheels. These wheels include a coarse wheel, a medium polishing wheel and soft rag and attach to your bench grinder using ToolPRO Attachable Spindals, which are sold separately.
How easy is it to use?
- Step 1 For this step you will need to use the coarse wheel with the grey bar for hard metals, terracotta bar for medium metals, or the brown bar for soft metals. This step will help to remove scratches and pitting from your metal surface.
- Step 2 uses the medium polishing wheel. This step will require either the blue or white bar depending on the metal and will help to bring the brightness back to the metal surface you are working on.
- Finally, the last and final step involves using the soft rag wheel with the green bar. This step helps bring out the ultimate shine from your piece
