This ensures optimal performance even in the harshest environments.
DBA’s 5000 Series XD Brake Rotors feature a non-directional cross-drilled and dimpled design, providing superior cooling benefits compared to the HD finish while enhancing the aesthetics of your vehicle.
Utilising a unique mix of dimples and drilled holes, the 5000 Series XD rotor offers enhanced structural support, surpassing traditional cross-drilled techniques. The aerospace-grade aluminium hats not only reduce unsprung weight for improved handling but also promote uniform radial disc expansion and minimise heat transfer from disc to hub.
Each rotor is meticulously engineered with symmetrical slots* to facilitate the exit of friction dust and gases, ensuring a quieter and more responsive pedal feel. The anti-rust painted non-friction areas enhance durability and appearance, while the CBN machine-turned finish minimises disc thickness variation for consistent performance.
Through advanced Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) and high carbon alloyed iron formulation, these rotors are optimised to handle extreme heat and provide superior stability and durability over prolonged periods. The Kangaroo Paw vein design* further enhances heat dissipation, increasing braking effectiveness and prolonging rotor life.
