As nice as the bass from a 12” subwoofer might be, there are some vehicles where it just isn’t practical to have a large box permanently mounted in the boot. However, there is still a great solution on the market for such vehicles, the 6 x 9” speaker enclosures from Aerpro. Most vehicles have provisions for 6” or possibly 6.5” rear speakers. Whilst these are nice for mid-range tone, it’s very hard to get deep notes out of a speaker of this size without spending a fortune.
That’s where a 6x9” speaker can be really handy, as they produce responsive bass, without breaking the bank, or consuming the vehicle’s luggage space. These speaker boxes are constructed from MDF, and have been carpeted in black carpet. Connecting wires have also been included, and the boxes have been tightly sealed to provide a maximum amount of bass. These speaker boxes can easily be installed in the boot of most vehicles, with minimal impact on storage room, or in some cases they can also be installed on the parcel shelf.
